BCTGM President Anthony Shelton

Anthony Shelton is the International President of The Bakery, Confectionery, Tobacco Workers and Grain Millers’ International Union. BCTGM members make the food that we see on the shelves at the grocery store every day. They work at companies you know well: Kellogg’s, Nabisco, Frito Lay, and many others.

President Shelton has been a BCTGM member since he was only 18 years old. He steadily rose through the ranks, serving as a local officer, an International Representative, and Southern Region International Vice President. Since taking over as International President in 2020, Brother Shelton has led his union through some of its most bitter and historic strikes – all of them ending in victory for thousands of workers.
